N38E13 sintesi delle coordinate geografiche N38.1103 E13.3649, costituirà in tal modo uno spazio di relazioni dinamiche tra luoghi e persone, anche inteso come spazio concettuale”.
A descriverci il progetto è Ennio Pellicanò, direttore e cordinatore dello spazio culturale che per l’inaugurazione ha ospitato artisti come Primoz Bizjak, Stefano Canto, Annamaria Di Giacomo, Alessandro Librio,il collettivo VVVB, Jose Florentino e Ignazio Mortellaro insieme al collettivo catanese ‘canecapovolto’ ,dando vita al progetto “ACCESS LANDSCAPE ACCESS” a cura di Salvatore Davì e Katiuscia Pompili con Sebastiano Mortellaro in residenza”.
Mortellaro attraverso l’osservazione dalla finestra di una delle stanze laboratorio, fa una riflessione sul paesaggio.
Racconta di un non-luogo, un paesaggio imprevisto e trascurato, che diviene per l’artista punto d’osservazione per riflettere sull’integrazione degli immigrati nel capoluogo siciliano.
L’opera prodotta resterà esposta all’interno della stanza di riferimento fino all’avvio del nuovo programma di micro-residenze che avranno luogo nei mesi a seguire per poi entrare a far parte di un archivio.
