Since 1940, the year the first model was presented, Extra-fort has enjoyed particular success: over the years it has been interpreted by the Maison in multiple versions and is among the most popular and long-lived collections of Eberhard & Co. Today, Extra-fort in the vitré presents itself with an unprecedented range of dials.

Featuring a steel case with a diameter of 39 mm, this timepiece retains the unmistakable charm of the “classic” Extra-fort chronograph, with its refined design and elegant Dauphine-type hands. The dial shows a sophisticated play of concentric patterns, alternating the frappé workmanship with vertical lines with the azure finish of the hour band, also repeated for the two counters.

The new dials are offered in particularly elegant shades which, when applied on the dial rich in details, create interesting chromatic effects. These vary from the more sophisticated version, silver with silver counters, to the captivating silver version with black counters, up to the particular model with silver counters and blue dial, a very trendy delicate shade.

The bottom of the sapphire crystal case reveals the oscillating weight with perlée workmanship characterized by a particular coiffe (covering the weight bearing) fixed by 2 blue screws and personalized by the Maison’s emblem, the Shield, which encloses the “E”.
