Since 2005, Veja sneakers have been produced in Brazil and sold all over the world. During these years, Veja has established a sustainable supply chain, such as organic cotton from Brazil and Peru or Amazon rubber from the Amazon Rainforest. Now the time has come to develop a second supply chain, equally responsible and sustainable. Veja secretly launched production in Europe in 2023 and has already produced more than 80,000 pairs in Portugal without disclosing it. The objective of the new AEGEAN PROJECT is to locally produce sneakers for the European market.
