Daniel Bernauer, nato a Seattle Washington nel 1977, è un fotografo e un regista autodidatta. Dopo essersi fatto le ossa a Seattle si è trasferito a Los Angeles CA dove ha lavorato come fotografo per 7 anni prima di approdare a New York City dove in pochi anni è riuscito ad affermarsi come fotografo e lavora stabilmente nella grande mela da 5 anni.

Come regista ha lavorato in diverse pellicole e spot tv. Il suo lavoro lo ha portato a realizzare molte campagne pubblicitarie, editoriali di moda e copertine fra cui Surface Magazine. Il suo portfolio continua a crescere ogni giorno aggiungendo al suo carnet molte maison di moda e cataloghi online, solo per fare qualche nome:  Milly, Tamara Mellon, Izod, Calvin Klein e Michael Kors.

Quando non è dietro all’obiettivo di una macchina fotografica, trascorre le sue giornate con la sua famiglia, viaggiando e lavorando a progetti personali, non sempre legati alle immagini, l’ultima sua passione è costruire amplificatori per hi-fi.

Daniel Bernauer, born in Seattle Washington in 1977 is a self taught photographer and director. After honing his skills in Seattle he moved to LA where he shot for seven years before heading to New York City.

Daniel quickly became established in NYC where he has been shooting now for 5 years. As a director Daniel has worked on several films and TV commercials. As a photographer Daniel has shot many advertising campaigns, many editorials and covers including Surface magazine.

His client base is ever expanding and includes many fashion houses and online catalogues such as Milly, Tamara Mellon, Izod, Calvin Klein and Michael Kors. In his free time Daniel spends as much time as he can with his family, travels while shooting personal projects and his current hobby is building vacuum tube hi-fi amplifiers.
