The Year of the Dragon will begin on February 10th in China and many Asian countries: days of great celebrations will begin which include parties, rich lunches and spectacular fireworks, culminating in the Lantern Festival, scheduled for February 25th, to close the festive period.

For this occasion, and as has been tradition for many years, Buccellati has created a Dragon that appears energetic, full of vitality, but also idealistic and romantic, with a strong sense of self.

Buccellati’s silver dragon expresses power, nobility, honor, luck and success. According to the Chinese Theory of the Five Elements, each sign is associated with an element (metal, water, wood, fire or earth): the Dragon of 2024 is Wood, inheriting characteristics including honesty, reliability, indulgence and connected to trees tall trees and forest. This is why 2024 is also called the Year of the Green Dragon, a color that symbolizes rebirth and new life. All excellent wishes.

The new Buccellati Dragon is sinuous and smiling, portrayed while playing with a ball, a symbol of luck and wealth. His scales create plays of light along the surface of his body, his expression is friendly, his body seems to be in motion, symbolizing strong temperament, impulsiveness and fearlessness.
