The maximum expression of Italian design and manufacturing tradition and attention to detail are the founding values which, with this collaboration, export the excellence of Italian know-how to the world. The project starts from the launch of a collection of men’s and women’s footwear which develops across two models, the iconic Tod’s Gommino and the sneaker, which come in yellow, green and blue.
The Gommino is characterized by a new line that takes up the livery of the Lamborghini super sports cars and the tubular banded workmanship increases the appeal of aerodynamics, creating movement and elegance. On the soles, the characteristic rubber nubs become macro, taking up the color of the heel or upper. The leathers come from the best tanneries and the production process requires a high level of craftsmanship, where the cutting of the leather and the visible stitching are done by hand.
The historic Stazione Leopolda in Florence was chosen for the launch event, during Pitti Uomo, an unmissable event for men’s style. The absolute protagonists of the installation are the Tod’s for Automobili Lamborghini collection and the Lamborghini Revuelto.
The collection represents the first step of a project that also includes leather goods and clothing collections.
