With HAUS of Dreamers, a series of global events, Golden Goose brings the physical experience of HAUS out of its headquarters in Marghera and to key destinations around the world.
For the first edition of HAUS of Dreamers in Venice, Golden Goose has selected five world-renowned multifaceted artists from different fields: Fabio Novembre, Quannah Chasinghorse, Dr. Woo, SUNMI and Suki Waterhouse. The brand has asked each artist to reinterpret the classic Venetian icons, creating unique limited edition collections. Each artist has created a shoe, a prêt-à-porter garment and a unique object linked to his Venetian experience.
At the HAUS of Dreamers event in Venice, K-Pop artist SUNMI captivated the audience with a unique singing performance immersed in a candlelit atmosphere. A Venetian orchestra performed kicking off the performance of the K-Pop Artist SUNMI, in a meeting of cultures in the heart of Venice. The uniqueness of the object in the Dreamed by SUNMI collection is inspired by this moment: a limited series of 25 Venetian masks made of paper and embellished with Swarovski crystals that recall Venetian masked balls.
To accompany this collectible work of art, a loose fit cropped polo shirt, inspired by the vintage imagery of American colleges. This model in worn white jacquard piqué cotton jersey is characterized by the contrasting burgundy ribs, the collar with three-button opening and the elasticated waist. As a final touch, the writing “Run After Your Dreams” on the back in a burgundy satin patch.
The collection also includes a pair of Marathon sneakers, a new silhouette for Golden Goose. Available in an exclusive colorway that reflects the luminous soul of SUNMI, the Marathon features a cream nappa leather upper with silver ripstop, red glitter details and lurex laces. Featuring the aesthetic of 1970s athletics, this genderless style seamlessly blends vintage attitude with cutting-edge elements, like the 3D printed stabilizer; projecting this vintage style into the future.
