For the Fall – Winter 2023, Tod’s presents a refined and contemporary elegance. A collection with a strong identity that combines the high quality of traditional craftsmanship with clean lines and the softness of precious materials.
Walter Chiapponi, Tod’s Creative Director, proposes an essential and modern collection of iconic, precious pieces. They are the peacoat with leather-covered buttons reminiscent of Tod’s iconic pebbles, and the parka, with couture details. They are the short, narrow-waisted bomber jackets in nappa leather or knit with shearling details, padded jackets in fabric or leather, with elegant shapes. They are the masculine suits, also pinstriped, where the jacket with prominent shoulders loses its lapels and is worn with structured shirts. And big, soft, oversized floor-length coats.
The knitwear is extremely feminine, the zip-up polo shirt has leather details, the knit dress is sensual and enveloping. Fabrics are exclusively natural: the wools and cottons of sportswear are combined with the softest and most precious leathers, customised with handcrafted treatments. The colour palette remains in warm tones of camel, brown and cream, ending with the monochromatic black and white.
