Revisiting an iconic model from the 2000s, the new Prada Moon bag represents the modern conceptual synthesis of the brand’s distinctive elements from its priceless archive, witness of Prada’s past, present and future.
The Moon combines multiple inspirations related to apparently distant worlds, in a versatile but coherent design where the distinctive signs of the brand coexist, a technical knowledge that has been handed down for decades and an absolutely contemporary attitude.
It is the details that define its personality: the large central metal buckle, which has characterized the model since its first appearance in the Spring/Summer 2002 collection, is now enriched with an emblematic character thanks to the Prada triangle logo in enamelled metal that signs it. The passavela borrowed from the world of sailing is back, another detail dear to the brand which here becomes an element of the structure as well as a decorative detail, proposed in metal with a silver finish.
The unmistakable nappa leather appears in a new interpretation thanks to a process that gives it an almost padded effect, accentuating its lightness.
Characterized by a curvilinear silhouette and a decisive shape, the Prada Moon is proposed in different monochromatic shades including wave, cedar, geranium and mango. The handles, the shoulder strap and the elegant ton sur ton removable key ring enrich the model. The compact and harmonious lines make it an eclectic key piece, a new classic in the Prada sign.
The Moon bag is now available in Prada stores worldwide and on prada.com.
