Behind every great achievement, there is a great project; and every substantial project is based on visionary inspirations. Buccellati unveils the origin and the evolution of some of his most admired lines, composing the Icona Collection. The so-called “garland” motif appears in the Buccellati creative line since the dawn of the brand: we still keep in our archives a drawing by Gianmaria Buccellati, with lots of technical instructions, that was used to create the first necklace with this motif.
Today, the garland is the main motif of the objects being part of the “Romanza” collection, totally focused on engagement and marriage jewels.
By the success they had since their debut, the Buccellati iconic collections are now expanded with minimalist designs and brand new proposals for a more comfortable and day-to-day wearability. This is why the “mini” versions took birth: to recall the lines that made the history of the centenary Buccellati style where we can find the Ghirlanda line with innovative jewels offered as pendants, button earrings and a flexible bracelet, totally in white gold and diamonds.
