Xavier Veilhan has responded to Virginie Viard’s third invitation, this time for the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2023 Haute Couture show. In the collection teaser, he imagines a forest scene with puppies and horses – an animal dear to the artist and the House -, that finally gives way to the buildings of the rue Cambon. At number 31, in front of the emblematic CHANEL address, model Vivienne Rohner emerges from a monumental bird sculpture, wearing a white tweed coatdress and a black top hat.

To accompany this film, Xavier Veilhan has also created a black and white drawing featuring a bestiary of real and imaginary animals from his artistic universe. The film of the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2023 Haute Couture show will be unveiled on Tuesday, 24 January at 2pm Paris time on chanel.com.
