Woolrich redesigns the collection structure giving life to a “Guide to Winter” for the Autumn/Winter 2023 season, designed to compose a versatile wardrobe that allows you to face any weather condition, from the mildest to the most extreme. Functional and authentic garments that embody the brand’s American roots.
For Autumn/Winter Woolrich explores three different themes. The first, The Western Outdoors, is an inclusive modern Western tale that celebrates the history of American sportswear and iconic flannel shirts: it’s a statement of authenticity. The Western Down Vest is a garment with a vintage allure inspired by the brand’s old advertising campaigns. Another protagonist is the Quilted Patchwork Parka, made with a patchwork of different motifs for an unmistakable look.
The second theme, Urban Explorers, represents the discovery and exploration of America’s great outdoors, from cities to the U.S. Trails. Functional garments that highlight Woolrich’s ability to combine performance and design while continuing to stand out in the creation of technical clothing as he has done in the last sixty years. The Sierra Supreme Parka is a prime example of this: a garment that offers performance and protection even at very low temperatures which, with its lightness and clean lines, is also perfect for everyday use. The Matt Stretch Puffer Jacket takes up the traditional shapes typical of down jackets and is made in a stretch fabric capable of making this garment light, functional and comfortable.
The third theme, The Classics, is a return to the beginning, to wool processing and the creation of garments in soft but resistant materials. It is an offer that shifts attention to models in premium fabrics such as natural wool and cashmere, to sporty silhouettes with a tailored cut and 2-in-1 models with refined details. The Knitted Puffer Jacket is a modern and contemporary wool blend take on a traditional style. The Melton 2-in-1 Peacoat is a functional version redesigned in a contemporary key of the Caban.
