Divided into three drops, Golden Goose’s SS23 Journey collection embarks on a whole new path, questioning which is the best way to travel. And the answer is simple: through dreams. To coincide with the holiday season, the first drop revolves around one of Golden Goose’s core values: the extended family, built by each of us and by the people we love.
A unique and fantastic atmosphere becomes the leitmotif that runs through the collection, starting from the color palette made of light and ethereal shades, up to evocative and suggestive scenarios.
Gathered in an elegant villa, the characters from the campaign and the products themselves explore two different situations: a more intimate one, with a welcoming atmosphere that recalls the domestic environment, and a more social one, made up of new experiences and celebrations with all loved ones. As far as familiarity is concerned, the inspiration comes from furnishing elements, such as the patterns on the carpets that are reflected in some of the jacquard sweaters.
For the more social dimension, the brand has reinterpreted everyday garments, transforming them into more eclectic pieces, such as the crystal-covered jacquard cardigan, the corduroy suit made of a viscose and cotton blend so as to make it slightly draped and shimmering and, finally, the jogging pants in a soft fabric embellished with sequins.
