Givenchy unveils a special collaboration between fashion and the Web3 with the Atlanta-born and New York-based underground label (b).STROY.For Spring-Summer 2023, an innovative streetwear capsule collection, designed by the creative director of Givenchy Matthew M. Williams and (b).STROY co-founders Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams, merge the aesthetics of their respective brands. Some emblematic pieces are also accompanied by NFT Givenchy x (b).STROY in limited edition.

“Brick and Du are longtime friends who share my vision of fashion as an inclusive space for experimentation and personal style expression. Together, we’ve focused on streetwear creations with unexpected treatments that resonate beyond fashion and into the realm of contemporary art, street art and the Web3,” said Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Williams.

“(b).STROY captures the street essence and Matthew’s work for Givenchy embodies urban style with a Parisian touch. For this collaboration, we wanted to merge our respective aesthetics and create an experience that goes beyond the collection itself” said (b).STROY co-founders Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams.

Looking to the future of fashion, the Givenchy x (b).STROY collection blends the essentials of streetwear for men and women – t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, varsity jackets, statement bags and footwear – with an instinctive visual language , and which will be immediately meaningful to both brand communities. Layered colours, emblematic embroideries and experimental treatments permeate the collection, which includes a Givenchy x (b).STROY hoodie inspired by the New York brand’s iconic design.

Givenchy x (b).STROY accessories offer colorful new interpretations of urban essentials such as multicolor flats, moon boots and limited edition caps. For women they include an Antigona Soft with metal charms, a Moon Cut-Out shoulder bag, a denim G-Tote and Shark Lock boots embellished with metal charms.

The men’s backpacks — one with a classic shape embellished with (b.STROY) applications, the other a G-Zip with a new interpretation of the Givenchy emblem — are accompanied by a mint green G-Shopper with the blue 4G emblem royal on one side and (b).STROY graphics on the other. The TK-360 returns in new colors, from gray gradient blue / green and red / yellow. Personalized denim caps and multicolor tags with the GIVENCHY logo complete the capsule.

The NFTs coined for the Givenchy x (b).STROY collaboration were created by FELT Zine, the Web3 experimental artist collective, in collaboration with Matthew M. Williams, Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams.

“FELT Zine contributors are directly influenced by talents like Matthew M. Williams who allow us to create freely and see our aesthetics and interests reflected at the highest level of art and fashion. With Givenchy, we update our inspiration in real time helping to build Web3 content for the House’s heritage,” said Mark Sabb, founder of FELT Zine, artist, curator and creative technologist.
