Celebrations unveiled a new chapter in the creative epic of 13, rue de la Paix, after more than two years of renovation. Inseparable from its time, always evolving to the rhythm of the most magnetic and inspiring aspects of Paris, the boutique has had several lives, and is now entirely transformed once again.

Vanessa Kirby and Farida Khelfa doubled the sense of occasion with their captivating choice of jewellery, unveiling another reinvention from the Maison. The Friends of the Maison celebrated through the night in creations from the Grain de Café collection including a necklace, bracelet and two rings in yellow gold and diamonds.
With its cascading clusters of beans and golden architectures, the Grain de Café collection electrifies and embodies the Maison’s vision of nature: rebellious, free and sophisticated – a creative field that gives rise to the most unexpected and original pieces.

Why the coffee bean? Because this motif appeared in 1938 under the impetus of creative director Jeanne Toussaint, from her creative home at 13, rue de la Paix. Over the decades, and particularly in the 1950s and 1960s, it was a great success, worn by daring women of style and singularity. Despite its miniature dimensions, the enhanced bean represents the unison of two creative registers dear to Cartier: flora recreated in yellow gold and the ordinary made precious by the jeweller’s eye.
The Grain de Café collection will be available exclusively at the Cartier 13 Paix boutique from the 28th of October, and in London, New York, Dubai and Shanghai boutiques from 1st December, 2022.
