A gallery of female portraits borrowed from the history of painting– from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century – becomes the starting point for a reflection on the views thathave conditioned women from yesterday to today.
Through the lens of photographer Brigitte Niedermair, the models echo these iconic figures, embodying theexperimental audacity of the collection amid a hushed decor subtly evoking that of a cabinet of curiosities.
