Burberry announces that it has partnered with Mythical Games for the second consecutive year to launch a new NFT collection of its flagship title, Blankos Block Party. The collaboration foresees that the brand opens new places in the game for its communities and creates a bespoke social space where players can meet and live a unique virtual experience.
The limited edition Burberry Blanko NFT takes the form of a unicorn named Minny B draped with Burberry’s new TB summer monogram inspired by the brand’s Animal Kingdom codes. Minny B, a playful interpretation of the mythological creature, is a gentle and cheeky character who blends art and creativity to evoke a sense of limitless possibility. Minny B features a distinctive spiral horn and a set of white wings, which enhance the character’s magical quality and allow Blanko to explore new spaces in flight.
The new NFT collection will include other Burberry pieces, including boomboxes, TB sliders, horseshoe necklaces and a “Shellphone”, a shell-inspired mobile phone accessory, which players can add to their virtual portfolio of online accessories. Blankos Block Party players who own Burberry’s first NFT character, Sharky B, will also be rewarded with a free Monogram bucket hat that will be released in the coming weeks.
Burberry has also created a bespoke social space within the game, a cabana-style resort called “The Oasis”, where players can meet to connect, explore and enjoy a unique virtual experience. The Oasis, a futuristic paradise decorated with inspirations from the natural world, offers a wide range of beaches, including sailboats, lounge chairs and loungers that draw inspiration from summer destinations customized with Burberry’s new TB Summer Monogram located in Saint-Tropez, in Korea, Singapore and Ibiza. The new Burberry Blanko and accessories will be released as part of the Burberry B Series, a series of limited edition products available on Burberry’s digital channels.
