Golden Goose partners with Michelangelo Foundation to endorse Young Ambassadors to participate at Homo Faber Event 2022, Venice.

Golden Goose continues its journey to promote its handmade and artisanal tradition by partnering with the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, endorsing the participation of Young Ambassadors at the Homo Faber Event 2022. This partnership reconfirms the brand’s dedication to its heritage rooted in Venice. The Homo Faber Event returns in 2022 for a second edition.

This unprecedented international event showcases an amazing series of 15 exhibitions designed by a team of world-renowned curators, designers, and architects, illuminating the rich variety of craftsmanship in Europe and Japan with a focus on passing precious skills to the next generations. The event champions talented artisans from across the globe, their cherished know-how, their unique stories, and the territorial influences that enrich their masterpieces.

Golden Goose and the Michelangelo Foundation share the same mission of raising awareness and sharing knowledge on craftsmanship to safeguard heritage into the future generations. Supported by Golden Goose, the Young Ambassador Programme features 100 talents from 26 different countries, selected from the best applied arts and design schools across Europe. The Young Ambassadors represent the future of creativity and craftsmanship. They are the voices and faces of the exhibition. They will be presenting the exhibitions and artworks to the visitors. The 100 Young Ambassadors will be wearing handcrafted Golden Goose sneakers throughout the spectacular event that will take place in the magical setting of Fondazione Giorgio Cini and across Venice with Homo Faber in Città from April, 10th to May, 1st 2022.

On this same week, Golden Goose celebrates the reopening of its historic Venetian flagship store in Calle Vallaresso, doubling its size and presenting an entirely new concept.mWith an area of approximately 130sqm, the store presents different environments and new and exclusive product categories that complete the Golden lifestyle.
