Hop aboard and fire up your imagination, Mira Mikati is taking you on a journey for AW22, and the sky’s the limit. Dust off your passport, new perspectives and unforgettable memories are on the horizon.

Travel has always been Mikati’s first inspiration. Every trip sparks new ideas and new pieces. And after travelling the globe to 50 of the most colourful places on earth, from Greece to Japan, Indonesia to Italy, for her first book, Colorful World, this gender-inclusive collection is bursting at the seams with joy and optimism.

Pandemic fatigue and lockdown blues make way for stripes and checks in every colour of the rainbow, sequinned palm trees and messages of positivity. Travel is back and this collection is a celebration of every moment – from breakfast to beach bar and beyond. Your holiday packing is made easy with floral Hawaiian shirts, embroidered denim shorts and every cover- up you could ever need when the sun goes down.

Among the standout pieces we’ll be reaching for when the temperature drops is a hand- sequinned logo bomber jacket that helps you ‘shine’ in more ways than one, a double breasted wool coat with an appliqué palm tree design, and a fringed blanket coat that looks and feels just as good thrown over swimwear as it does paired with matching trousers.

As uplifting as it is eco-conscious, the collection helps close the loop on production waste by reusing surplus material offcuts. Denim jackets from former collections are also upcycled and reborn for AW22, while our knitwear is made from recycled yarns.

Just as the messages that are embroidered on our sweatshirts, hoodies and shorts help to spread positivity, the collection also aims to have a positive influence by favouring handmade arts and crafts and conscious production. This season, we’ve reworked colourways and sourced alternative denim washes to keep them earth-friendly. We’re also working towards eliminating all unnecessary packaging and using only biodegradable materials on our tags and packaging.

Exploration is back on the agenda. We’re travelling bright. Footloose and restriction-free.
