Luisa Beccaria chooses to present her FW 22/23 with a video project shot indoors focusing on the emotional and evocative power of an author’s short film.
The designer flanked by her daughter Lucilla, starting from a liquid-colored canvas that is almost a magical mirror through the dream, leads us on a journey towards lightness by introducing herself into an artist’s atelier reflecting, through the chromatism of art, on weight that muted and twilight colors have in his collections.
The models and dancers move lightly through frames that highlight, with dance and movements, delicacy, transparency and that fragile fashion with flowery and impalpable prints that have always been the brand’s signature.
The autumn outfits, which seem to be the natural continuation of the late summer ones, give way to the winter ones, perfect for the holiday season and evenings in the mountains. Fragile dresses, shirts and blouses with light bottoms, are gradually warmed up by turtlenecks and leggings in coordinated micro patterns and paired with redingote with minute silhouettes,
couture outerwear and eco-fur jackets.
The collection, hyper feminine and sophisticated, plays with the weights of the fabrics, with the different textures and archive tapestry prints.
The scarlet and light blue corollas, made famous by the short coat in floral padded velvet stand out against ivory and blue backgrounds,
while light trompe l’oeil ramages are mixed with all-over micro prints in shades of green.
From the collaboration with Clemente Tivioli, Carlo’s son, a first capsule collection of jackets and coats in sheepskin and suede that highlight the brand’s values through its craftsmanship and know-how.
Ludic Mood, the video project with which the collection is presented, is a hymn to an all-female creativity that expresses 360 ° through design, cinema, art and music. The short film is directed by Amaranta Medri and is almost entirely set in the studio of the young artist Sofia Cacciapaglia which is a real art installation. The music is signed by another exceptional woman, Emmanuelle. In the background It’s just a game, her famous one song and a series of melodies composed ad hoc for this project.
