Sustainability and the enhancement of young talents are at the heart of the second Tod’s Academy collaboration. 20 young designers from the Milan and Florence offices of Istituto Marangoni, excellence in higher education in the fields of Fashion, Art and Design, have developed projects by reinterpreting Tod’s codes in a green and eco-sustainable key.
To guide them along this path, mentors of international fame were called to share their experience and knowledge with the students.
The students also deepened the design and production aspects, thanks to the opportunity to get to know Tod’s business reality and the skills of its craftsmen.
With this collaboration, Tod’s reaffirms its commitment to the new generations, demonstrating how important it is to give young talents the opportunity to develop concrete creative projects during their training.
The eco-sustainable aspect becomes fundamental, more and more central, supporting all the initiatives that the company has been undertaking for some time, to look to the future from a perspective that respects the environment and work.
Tod’s Academy is a laboratory of ideas based in the Marche headquarters of the Brand, a place where new ideas meet Tod’s know-how, where artisans accompany and support young people with their skills. The collaboration with Istituto Marangoni follows that with Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, the first successful chapter of Tod’s Academy.
