Chopard Manufacture inserts its flying tourbillon into the heart of a ladies' timepiece
796

In 2019, Chopard Manufacture introduced its first automatic movement with a flying tourbillon, the L.U.C 96.24-L. This caliber equipped with Chopard Twin technology with two overlapping barrels and high-precision functions – first of all the stop seconds function – beats today inside two new LUC Flying T Twin Ladies models in ethical 18-karat rose gold or in platinum with diamonds .

These two ultra-flat timepieces exhibit a markedly feminine diameter of 35 millimeters and extreme mechanical and aesthetic refinement and are offered, each, in a limited edition of twenty-five pieces. The watches are a reflection of the manual skill and genius of spirit that characterize the artisans of emotions at Chopard Manufacture, as demonstrated by the “Chronometer” and Hallmark of Geneva certifications.

Although they contain an exceptional movement, the L.U.C Flying T Twin Ladies timepieces are distinguished above all by their reduced thickness and the refinement of their dials.

The harmonious proportions are ideal for women’s wrists and make these two creations the smallest flying tourbillon watches on the market.

Their flying tourbillon takes center stage and is visible through a large-diameter window at 6 o’clock, which opens onto the movement. In this case, the lightness of the flying tourbillon works to the full advantage of the effect of transparency and depth. The small seconds are located on the tourbillon cage.

In the gold version, the tourbillon window is placed inside the pearl mother-of-pearl dial where the indices with set brilliant-cut diamonds stand out, with the exception of the 12 indicated with golden Arabic numerals. The dial of the platinum version, on the other hand, features a rich pavé of 282 diamonds, with setting centered on the tourbillon cage.
