Louis Vuitton and (RED) announce the auctioning off of the LV Trainer Louis Vuitton | (RED) prototype at Sotheby's auction house in support of (RED )'s fight against pandemics.

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of (RED), the organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to fight AIDS, and today, the impact of COVID-19, Louis Vuitton supports the fight against the two pandemics thanks to auction of prototype LV Trainer Louis Vuitton I (RED). Personally autographed by the Artistic Director of the men’s collections Virgil Abloh, the sneaker, one-of-a-kind, measures 9 UK, the standard one of the Louis Vuitton prototypes and the side grille on this pair is bright red, subsequently adapted to white by Virgil Abloh on the occasion launch of production.

The only pair of Louis Vuitton | (RED) LV Trainer prototype sneakers will be available in an online-only auction on Sothebys.com, open for bids from February 22 to March 4. Estimated between US $ 30,000 and US $ 40,000 and offered without reserve, all proceeds from the sale will be donated to support the relief work of the Global Fund. The shoes will be exhibited in Sotheby’s galleries in New York and visible by appointment.
