Laura Harrier is an American actress. In 2017 she got noticed thanks to her role played in Spiderman: Homecoming. But it’s her role as a civil rights activist in Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlcmsman that has given her international recognition. The film won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018 and earned her nomination for a Screen Guild Award in 2019. She recently starred in Ryan Murphy’s Hollywood miniseries. Laura Harrier is a civil rights advocate and activist for the intersectional feminism, transgender rights, gun control, gender equality and representation for both blacks and people of color in general.
