Upcycled by Miu Miu is an exclusive and very special collection of recycled vintage pieces, which debuts with actresses Elisa Visari and Chen Ran as part of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards, promoted by Eco-Age in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, in this edition for the first time digital and broadcast live all over the world.

Available in selected boutiques of the brand for this year’s Christmas period, Upcycled by Miu Miu is a selection of unique models built on precious unsigned vintage garments, dating back to the period between the Thirties and the Seventies, found and carefully chosen in vintage clothing shops and markets around the world. Once restored, the chosen pieces are put back to model: cut, joined, lengthened or shortened, and finished with the emblematic embroidery and decorations of Miu Miu, such as sequins, crystals, ribbons and bows.

Initially, the Upcycled by Miu Miu collection will feature 80 dresses, each different, absolutely unique, and all finished by hand. Rethinked through the brand’s point of view, the life of garments worn and loved in the past is extended, renewed, protracted, thus embellishing in return the moments of the women who will wear them in the future.
