Fashion Hub Opening September 2020

On 22 September, the Milan Fashion Week Women’s – Mens’ Collection Spring / Summer 2021 opened. During the opening night of the Fashion Hub at La Permanente, Daniele Carlotta was awarded the Young Designer DHL Award, by the President of the Chamber Nazionale della Moda Italiana Carlo Capasa and Simona Lertora, Managing Director Marketing and Business Development of DHL Italia, institutional partner of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion for over 10 years and promoter of the internationalization of young brands in the Fashion Hub Market.

The Fashion Hub this year will host:

  • The eleventh edition of the Fashion Hub Market which will feature 7 emerging brands: GENTILE CATONE, SALVATORE VIGNOLA, DASSÙYAMOROSO, DANIELE CARLOTTA, RONI STUDIOS, C’EST LA V, FRANCESCA MARCHISIO
  • The “Designers for the Planet” room that welcomes 6 emerging Made in Italy brands focused on the theme of sustainability: Fantabody, flavialarocca, Tiziano Guardini, Bav Tailor, Yatay, Silvia Giovanardi, to which CNMI guarantees international visibility, favoring its recovery after the lockdown period
  • Budapest Select: as part of the mentoring program of CNMI and the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency, for the fourth time 5 Hungarian brands (Kata Szegedi, MERO, NINI, THEFOUR, ZIA budapest) present their collections. The Budapest Select S / S 2021 Special Show is also scheduled for Friday 25 September at 12:30 pm, a collective show, which will see the participation of 6 Hungarian designers: Abodi, Elysian, Cukovy, Kata Szegedi, MERO, THEFOUR.

To reaffirm the commitment to sustainability, one of the pillars of CNMI’s strategy, previous staging structures were reused for the design of the Fashion Hub. The carpet is made of 100% recycled material and, where present, the colors are all water based.
