With Re-Find, the celebrated British fashion director, known for her great style and unique point of view, has created the perfect wardrobe with extraordinary creations to wear and love forever. Essential pieces, modern and at the same time timeless, which reflect the heritage and essence of Weekend Max Mara: joy, relaxation, serenity and individuality, enlivened by a pinch of British spirit.

Known for her long career in the fashion world at British Vogue, Chambers is also co-founder of clothing brand Colville as well as Collagerie, an international online shopping platform. Lucinda Chambers has chosen the typical fabrics of Weekend Max Mara, such as cotton gabardine for the trousers, rustic wools for the outerwear, and waterproof fabrics for the trench coats.

The starting point: some of his favorite elements, enriched by bright, unexpected contrasts and eye-catching textures. Stripes, flowers and checks are combined with patchwork effects or associated in pleasant and rich layers. A poncho-blanket rests on a flowing dress, trousers with maxi proportions are worn with a tight top, an oversized cape is perfect over any garment.

The resulting pleasant feeling and free spirit are underlined by a rich autumnal palette that ranges from ink blue to rust, camel to earth tones, not forgetting winter white and orange. “I created what is, for me, the perfect Weekend Max Mara wardrobe. I really love what it represents, ”says Lucinda Chambers. Accessories play an important role in Chambers’ stylistic formula. Personal pieces, often eccentric, like a maxi version of the iconic Pasticcino Bag, the printed foulard and the soft hat, as an expression of freedom.

The spirit of the collection is captured by photographer Jack Davison with British model Karen Elson, who has a long-standing relationship with Chambers and with Weekend Max Mara which she starred in the 1997 advertising campaign. “Karen has a unique beauty, exterior and interior with a personality that emerges beyond the leaders. I am glad that, together with Jack, he wanted to participate in this project. Putting them together and seeing the result was a real joy, ”reveals Chambers.
