IERI
New Spring-Summer 2020 collections by well-known Georgian designers George Keburia, Liya and Ingorokva are now available at IERISTORE.COM.
This season an eminent Georgian designer George Keburia has switched from the tiny futuristic sunglasses to oversized 1980s inspired optics influenced by the vibrant soap opera characters. In this collection the designer mixed bright colours with bolder colours and heavy fabrics with light. The brand Liya known for her edgy attitude with feminine touches, in this collection showcases her iconic knitted sleeves along with sophisticated feminine pieces. A veteran Georgian brand INGOROKVA usually channels strong female energy in her garments and this season was no exception. Her pieces with clean cuts will complement any women’s wardrobe.
IERI store is a multifunctional concept-store that presents 27 best Georgian designers at one place.
The main aim of IERI store is to change the stereotypical perception of the country and to develop the fashion retail industry. We are the first to gather all Georgian brands in one unique space. A space more accurately to be named an “inspiration spot” rather than just a concept-store. The flagship store opened in May on the first floor of a historical winery (GHVINIS KARKHANA N1 | WINE FACTORY N1 at Vasil Petriashvili, 1). Followed by several pop-up projects in Tsinandali Estate during Tsinandali Festival of classical music, Republic and City Mall Tbilisi.
The name of the store can’t be translated from Georgian to English in just one word. IERI — means look, appearance, image, outfit, and attitude. It’s a brand new concept for Tbilisi — a store, a gallery, a coffee-spot, a wine-bar, a place to meet and a place to be. Anka Tsitsishvili, well-known fashion expert, is a creative director and a buyer of IERI store. Sofia Guguberidze, an international expert in luxury business management, is a project director. The design project of IERI store was made in cooperation with a Georgian studio “OBJECTS” owners Keti Asatiani and Nuka Korinteli.
