The project will be carried out by Camera Moda Fashion Trust and will include a fundraiser that will be used to support the new generation of Made in Italy, designers and small fashion companies. The goal is to support these realities in facing the difficulties generated by the expansion of Covid-19, continuing in continuity with the “Italy we are with you” project launched in recent weeks by CNMI.

For the same purpose, the Camera Moda Fashion Trust will organize in the coming days a series of webinars for young designers who will thus be able to take advantage of the valuable advice of experts on various topics. Support for the new generation of designers, emerging brands and small fashion companies is the exclusive aim of the Camera Moda Fashion Trust. This operation is also part of the complex framework of initiatives with which CNMI reacts to the difficult international situation we are experiencing. A plan of requests and proposals to protect Made in Italy has already been presented to the government in recent weeks.

“In this emergency situation more than ever the role of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion emerges: to meet the needs of all the players in the system and respond promptly with concrete and effective initiatives. The future cannot be separated from young people, for this reason CNMI is alongside the CNMI Fashion Trust and its project entirely dedicated to their support and which is placed alongside other initiatives aimed at addressing the difficulties generated by the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic “ comments the President of CNMI Carlo Capasa. “In this moment of great difficulty that will lead us to a radical change in the way we live and work, it is essential to make a system. CNMI has always believed in the new generation. Today, more than ever, we must commit ourselves to protecting Made in Italy to allow the future generation to continue, the one in which we believed and supported and which we risk losing today in a few months “comments Sara Sozzani Maino, CNMI International Brand Ambassador; Deputy Editor in Chief Vogue Italia and Head of Vogue Talents. “Never before has the work of the CNMI Fashion Trust become current and support for young designers is needed. Made in Italy must be protected and supported; now as never before ”affirm Umberta Gnutti Beretta and Warly Tomei, Co-founders and Co-chairs of Camera Moda Fashion Trust.
