The Fall 2019 advertising campaign was shot in Los Angeles by photographer Tyrone Lebon, and expands the boundaries of the new universe of Bottega Veneta, defined by Creative Director Daniel Lee. A desolate and sun-drenched concrete basin in Joshua Tree, California, an eternally blue sky and endless horizons, warmth and sensuality: these are the elements of a scenario that opens up infinite possibilities.
A pure gold racing car is upside down, just as power is subverted, and these images offer a new perspective on the traditional characteristics of luxury itself. Post-modern status symbols, glamor and reflection trigger the graphic silhouettes of the Fall 2019 collection; this campaign captures a new vision of modern, irreverent luxury. The subversions presented are reflected in the clothes. The innate codes of elegance, the desire and sensual identity, and the crude contrast between man and machine, remain the focus of the images that refer to the collection in terms of lines, cut and construction. Fall 2019 is clean, precise and refined. This Bottega Veneta looks from a different angle, with new eyes, discovering a new point of view. “Strength, sensuality, live the moment. Bottega Veneta means defining a point of view: a new way of looking at a discreet individuality, to then distort it, ”says Daniel Lee.
