The earth tones that fade into antique pink, then light up red and finally range between the more vivid shades of blue: here is the palette chosen by Fendi for the Resort 2020 line, the first collection designed without Karl Lagerfeld.

The collection is inspired by Gena Rowlands and her performance in Gloria, an eighties thriller. The character is proud and combative, fearless but always super sensual. It is the same woman that Fendi brings to the catwalk interpreting the contemporary woman.

The actress’s wardrobe in the film was signed at the time by Emanuel Ungaro in a classy but seductive style. The same that Fendi brings to the catwalk by softening the silhouette with a more fluid approach to the cut and an eccentric touch that plays in the balance between male and female cues.
