FENDI and Gentle Monster announce the launch of GENTLE FENDI, the new exclusive collection of sunglasses designed by the Roman Maison in collaboration with the Korean eyewear brand and produced and distributed by SAFILO.
The new GENTLE FENDI Capsule Collection presents two unisex models with a sophisticated look that reflect a perfect balance between innovative design and skillful craftsmanship, combining FENDI’s DNA with the unpredictable aesthetic of Gentle Monster.
From the hyper-fashion soul, the GENTLE FENDI NO.1 sunglasses, made of acetate and metal, reflect the latest trends in the world of fashion with their small form and the appeal of logomania, while the GENTLE FENDI NO.2 in metal combine a strong fashion attitude with an easy-to-wear look.

The GENTLE FENDI Capsule Collection will be presented with a new disruptive video under the artistic direction of AES + F, a Russian collective known for the original use of tools and disciplines, including sculpture,
photography, architecture and technology. With a rich aesthetic, dominated by sumptuousness and pomp, the video represents the encounter between fashion and art, where Futurism marries – and at the same time contrasts – with an ancient feeling.
Assuming the appearance of magical dreamlike creatures, the models and models – who wear the new GENTLE FENDI sunglasses – are projected into a surreal atmosphere, where they meet and interact with strange alien geometric structures, immersed in an environment defined by a classic architecture and minimal elements.
The new GENTLE FENDI Capsule Collection will be available in the FENDI and Gentle Monster boutiques and in the best optical stores in the world starting from the beginning of May 2019.
