Sacai announces the opening of ‘”Bonjour sacai” a month long residency in Paris, as a part of “Hello sacai” pop up tour 2019 in key cities of Europe, Asia and United States. The tour will make a fresh introduction of the brand, entitled “Hello sacai”, taking inspiration from each city. Simultaneously, a limited online store will launch during the periods and will be distributed worldwide.
Opening on 12 February, “Bonjour sacai” will be showcasing the world of sacai, with our long time friend Sarah Andelman / JUST AN IDEA who has brought together the best of French brands such as A.P.C., Hervé Chapelier, and Petit Bateau, which are exclusively presented alongside of the unique mix of multiform products re-imagined by designer Chitose Abe.
Bespoke furniture comes from the hands of sacai’s long time partner, Japanese collage / DIY artist group GELCHOP, melding recognizable furniture archetypes and modern with vintage, to make something playful and new. A space dedicated to fragment design and its founder Hiroshi Fujiwara showing the new concept, FRAGILE / FRAGMENT appearing on sacai (not sacai)limited series.
A pop up café by Honor Cafe – specialty coffee shop in Paris serving high quality graded coffee beans that are freshly roasted, where the customers can expect the perception of coffee to be changed.
“Bonjour sacai” will also include the special designs with Charlotte Chesnais, ceramics by Astier de Villatte and the exclusive pre-launch of the NIKE LDWAFFLE / SACAI, as well as custom beaded-design BeatsX wireless earphone by Beats by Dr. Dre inspired by sacai’s hybrid design concept, to launch in March.

For this Parisian pop-up, sacai’s «famous twist» is brilliant on classic French brands like Petit Bateau, Hervé Chapelier and A.P.C.. With Beats by Dr. Dre and Nike, the eclectic mix will give to the pop-up a unique vibe.“
