Following the success of the first edition, Rimowa and Off-White, will present the new limited edition collaboration during the opening day of Hypefest, a cultural festival created by HypeBeast to be held in New York on 6th and 7th of October.
The Off-White x Rimowa collection was unveiled at a Hypefest booth created by Virgil Abloh and produced by the New York creative agency Something Special Studios. Entitled “SEE THROUGH:, the installation presented a selection of suitcases prepared by Virgil himself, displayed on a luggage rack.
The suitcases, even if based on the Rimowa Essential model, do not include the classic internal covering but instead the Flex-Divider System available in black or white, a black or white case with the Off-White logo, and a set of cotton bags for a more efficient baggage preparation.
A limited amount of suitcases will be available during the festival, in the selected Rimowa and Off-White stores and online rimowa.com in America from October 12th and in Europe, Asia and Japan from October 25th.
A third Rimowa x Off-White suitcase – “Personal Belongings” in aluminium, based on the Rimowa Original model will be sold exclusively on rimowa.com, available only in USA.
