Chanel lays the first brick on a new site dedicated to the Métiers D’art

In December 2017, Chanel announced the establishment of a new site dedicated to Chanel – Métiers D’art and this Monday, September 17th of 2018, Mr. Bruno Pavlovsky, president of Chanel Sas, laid the first brick of a new site. At the place de Skanderbeg in the 19th arrondissement in Paris installed on a 9000 square meters of land the space will be completed in 2020 and will spread over five floors and two basements.

 

The architect Rudy Ricciotti has been entrusted with the responsible task of carrying out this major project. This new building not only reinforces Chanel’s historic commitment to creation, but also will represent craftsmanship and fashion through an elegant concrete exostructure, exceptional for its urban and architectural qualities as well as functionality and its objectives.
