Four fairy tales by the Grimm brothers

The four stories that inspired this collection belong to the collection that Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm published in two volumes – the first in 1812, the second in 1815 – with the title of Fiabe for children and for the focolare, collected by the Brothers Grimm. While they were still students, in fact, the two young people gathered the folk songs and legends of their country, comparing these stories taken from the oral tradition or written “to the small fragments of a precious stone scattered in the grass”

Adored by the young audience, loved by readers of all ages and in recent times made famous by numerous film adaptations, the Grimm’s fairy tales are now part of the world cultural heritage. Quattro fiabe dei fratelli Grimm

I quattro racconti che hanno ispirato questa collezione appartengono alla raccolta che Jacob e Wilhelm Grimm pubblicarono in due tomi – il primo nel 1812, il secondo nel 1815 – con il titolo di Fiabe per bambini e per il focolare, raccolte dai fratelli Grimm.
