Special edition of the first watch with tourbillon by A. Lange & Söhne with second stop and ZERO-RESET

Four years ago, A. Lange & Söhne gathered for the first time in 1815 TOURBILLON the stop of the seconds with the device for adjusting the ZERO-RESET hands. These patented mechanisms allow the clock to be stopped and adjusted to the exact second. Now this precision watch is offered in a limited edition of 100 copies with enameled dial.

The extraordinary watch made in a limited series of 100 copies combines traditional craftsmanship and modern precision mechanics. From the very first glance, 1815 TOURBILLON reveals an essential design and a white enamelled dial that stands out for its discretion and sobriety. Through the large opening at 6 o’clock, one can glimpse its great complexity: under a black-polished bridge one can admire the one-minute tourbillon in movement that does not merely compensate for the influence of gravity; the Lange watchmakers have in fact wisely developed the subtle complication, enriching it with two patented mechanisms.

Presented for the first time in 1997 on the LANGEMATIK model, the ZERO-RESET reset mechanism allows, in combination with the stop of the seconds, an adjustment of the timepiece to the exact second. Through the sapphire crystal case back you can appreciate the mechanical precision of the caliber of Manifattura L102.1 finished with great skill. The refined decoration of the watch finds its crowning in the diamond cover fixed on a golden setting screwed on the second bridge engraved by hand.

The large platinum case of 39.5 mm numbered from 001/100 to 100/100 is the ideal frame for the enameled dial, the realization of which requires about 30 stages of craftsmanship. The search for historical authenticity is reflected in the details, such as the number 12 cooked separately and printed in red. The burnished steel hand, the Arabic numerals, the “chemin de fer” small parts complete the classic design that serves as a bridge between the legendary Lange pocket watches from the 19th and 20th centuries. The 1815 TOURBILLON features a hand-sewn strap in black alligator leather and a massive platinum deployant fiber.

Quattro anni fa A. Lange & Söhne ha riunito per la prima volta nel 1815 TOURBILLON l’arresto dei secondi con il dispositivo di regolazione delle lancette ZERO-RESET. Tali meccanismi brevettati consentono l’arresto e la regolazione dell’orologio al secondo esatto. Ora questo orologio di precisione è proposto in edizione limitata a 100 esemplari con quadrante smaltato.

Lo straordinario orologio realizzato in serie limitata di 100 esemplari riunisce tradizione artigianale e moderna meccanica di precisione. Sin dal primo sguardo il 1815 TOURBILLON rivela un design essenziale e un quadrante smaltato in bianco che spicca per la sua discrezione e sobrietà. Attraverso la grande apertura a ore 6 si può tuttavia intravvederne la grande complessità: sotto un ponte lucidato in nero si può ammirare il tourbillon a un  minuto in movimento che non si limita a compensare l’influsso della forza di gravità; i maestri orologiai Lange hanno infatti sapientemente sviluppato la sottile complicazione, arricchendola con due meccanismi brevettati.

Presentato per la prima volta nel 1997 sul modello LANGEMATIK, il meccanismo di azzeramento ZERO-RESET consente, in combinazione con l’arresto dei secondi, una regolazione del segnatempo al secondo esatto. Attraverso il fondello in vetro zaffiro si può apprezzare la precisione meccanica del calibro di Manifattura L102.1 rifinito con grande maestria. La raffinata decorazione dell’orologio trova il suo coronamento nel copriperno in diamante fissato su un castone d’oro avvitato sul ponte dei secondi inciso a mano.

La grande cassa in platino di 39,5 millimetri numerata da 001/100 a 100/100 è la cornice ideale per il quadrante smaltato, la cui realizzazione richiede circa 30 fasi di lavoro artigianale. La ricerca dell’autenticità storica si riflette nei dettagli, come ad esempio la cifra 12 cotta a parte e stampata in rosso. La lancetta in acciaio brunito, le cifre arabe, la minuteria «chemin de fer» completano il classico design che fa da ponte tra i leggendari orologi da tasca Lange del XIX e del XX secolo. Il 1815 TOURBILLON è dotato di un cinturino cucito a mano in pelle di alligatore nera e da una massiccia fibra deployante in platino.
