Christian Dior parfums, the ENSP and the Luma foundation are delighted to announce the winner of the first edition of the “Dior new talent photography prize”:

Miss Yoonkyung Jang from the university of Chung-ang in  Seoul

The jury, presided over by Peter Lindbergh and composed of Simon Baker (director of the Maison Européenne de la photographie), Maja Hoffmann (founder and president of the Luma foundation), and Claude Martinez (president and Ceo of Christian Dior parfums), singled out the work of this young, 23-year old south Korean photographer for its striking aesthetic qualities, mastery of colour, and the cinematographic atmosphere of the images.

Yoonkyung Jang will receive a 10,000 euro grant from the house of Dior, who will also commission a creative piece. Her photos, along with works by the other selected artists, will be exhibited from June 2nd – September 23rd 2018 at the “parc des ateliers,” in arles
