Marking the launch of the autumn-winter 2018-2019 ready-to-wear collection, the iconic Dior boutique on Avenue Montaigne has had its facade entirely encased with a huge colorful tarpaulin. Reflecting the spirit of the protest and feminist posters of May ‘68, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s primary inspiration, this spectacular decoration makes reference to the fashion show whose runway and walls were completely covered with rallying cries that captured the winds of change. Among them is the word “youthquake”, coined by the editor Diana Vreeland, and the famous ”cCest non, non, non et non!”, a slogan that originally appeared on a miss Dior scarf, created in the headiness of the 60s, and now also featured on an oversized sweater in this collection
