As it turns out brands try to find new styles through look to the past. Inspiration for the Spring’18 collection ELLERY took from the great theorists of the 20th Century. It was these geniuses and forward-thinkers who posed then proved seemingly unconceivable concepts such as determining the speed of light as well as space and time travel. ELLERY tends to future and thought about this theoretical woman of the future.

The silhouettes are svelte and lengthened, emphasized by means of voluminous puffy sleeves and delicate ruching. The wide square scoop necklines, bubble hems and sleeves informed about the turn-of-the-century. Oversized button-up blazers, puddle hem man-style pants and sleek tailored A-line skirts are present a modernity in that collection.

Palette is nostalgic and colors have futuristic metallics, such as dandelion yellow, cognac, red, electric blue and silver. A big plus to a collection is ingenious and growing jewelry – the elements are silver and gold and are punctuated with colorful resin.

The material of shoe collection for ELLERY is blended, from creamy elasticated leathers, silk moiré jacquards to printed striped python and shoe are adorned with a circular zip pullers. In colors we can find electric blu, canary yellow, white or toffee.

ELLERY in Spring’18  comes out with the artful union between early 20th century style and 1960s retro futurism. That collection take the best  designs from the past and reveal them in the future – and beyond there.
