London best event: Burberry at Betsey Trotwood pub

Christopher Bailey, Jefferson Hack, Adwoa Aboah and Gosha Rubchinskiy hosted an event yesterday to celebrate the Burberry September collection and the unveiling of Dazed’s autumn/winter cover photographed by Angelo Pennetta.

The event took place at the Betsey Trotwood pub in Clerkenwell, minutes away from Burberry’s new show venue Old Sessions House, following the unveiling of its September 2017 collection for men and women earlier tonight. 

The show was walked by famous models like Adwoa Aboah, Elfie Reigate, Hebe Flury, Dilone, Kiki Willems, Jean Campbell, Olympia Campbell, Toni Bagley, Jonas Gloer, Montell Martin, Xavier Hickman, and Kaia Gerber, Presley Gerber, who presented the collection to a soundtrack by Pet Shop Boys.

 Guests in attendance included Cara Delevingne, Alasdair McLellan, Kris Wu, Stormzy, Blondey McCoy, Loyle Carner, Iris Law, Lennon Gallagher, Olympia Campbell, Bel Powley, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and DJ sets were performed by Skinny Macho, James Massiah, Princess Julia and many more.

Inspired by the spirit captured in British social portraiture, Burberry’s September collection for men and women is available for purchase globally and will be exhibited at Old Sessions House from 18 September – 1 October, which will also play host to the brand’s photography exhibition, Here We Are, exploring the British way of life and character. The entrance is free.
