Dutch model Luna Bijl has all eyes on her for Chanel Eyewear’s Fall-Winter 2017/18 campaign. Photographer Karl Lagerfeld took black and white photographs of her who wears key looks Eyewears in an industrial-inspired metallic decor.

Revisited classics, new shapes and unexpected lines define the season’s frames, which draw on a mix of styles from retro and futuristic to rock and faux-innocent. Sheathed in iridescent fabric, double-bridged neo-aviators hit the sweet spot between masculine and feminine, their arms entwined in a black nylon thread.

Optical frames play the minimalist card, encircled simply with metal. A tweed motif embellishes the metal arms of bold and feminine square-shaped XL optical frames and crops up on the upper bridge of perfectly round, assertive sunglasses. Spotted on the runway at the Chanel Airspace show, a butterfly mask plays on duality by pairing optical lenses with mirrored clip-on sunglasses.
