Burberry presents new campaign: My Burberry Blush
The My Burberry fragrance collection has a new family member, and Lily James stars in the campaign. She is the face of the new Burberry fragrance Eau De Parfum campaign.
Where the two fragrances are sophisticated and sexy, My Burberry Blush is youthful and fresh, though no less charming. Lily James, who fronted the My Burberry Black campaign, is also the face of Blush. Mario Testino photographed the actress for the campaign.
My Burberry Blush is lively and deeply feminine, inspired by a London garden at the first dawn lights, when flowers blossom with a spark of energy.
Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey worked on the concept of the new fragrance, which opens with zesty notes of pomegranate and lemon. The delicate pink petal hints are enhanced by crunchy apple, while the final arrangement of jasmine and wisteria softens the scent.
“It feels lightened, airy and not too sweet,” Lily says in another video, seen below. “All chaotic but in harmony.”
The bottle is reinterpreted in a feminine and sophisticated pink shade that reflects the spicy and lively character of the new fragrance, while retaining the classic Burberry details that recall the tradition. The horn effect cap in a light shade is inspired by Burberry trench coat buttons, while the gabardine jib knotted around the neck of the flask celebrates the weather-resistant fabric designed by Thomas Burberry over a hundred years ago.
The My Burberry Blush fragrance will be available in 90 ml, 50 ml and 30 ml bottles on counters and online from August 2017.
