Edward Achour Paris Presents Fall/Winter 2017/2018 Collection
Edward Achour reinterprets the Sixties sophisticated glamour, with his clean and feminine fits, matching it with modern, polished and innovative details. The new collection is inspired by an extremely refined woman, who is fierce and determined, aware of the uniqueness of her style and of the timeless elegance which identifies herself.
Light pleated skirts combine with short tweed blazers, palazzo pants or high waist shorts with soft white shirts, short dresses with long bouclé coats. Pants suits are chic and sensual: they have lost their exclusively masculine feature thanks to polished finishes, embroideries, laces, ruches on sleeves and hems.
Even the materials reflect the romantic and refined mood of the collection, but at the same time are modern and bold. The delicate silks alternate with matelassé leather and suede, warm wool pulls together with lace.
The main colours are white, black and the different shades of grey, mixed with green, red, light blue and pink. The undeniable detail is the gardenia. This pure and fragile flower, so much beloved by the designer, is articulated in different shades on high tailored dresses and blouses.
