Steven Meisel chose the subway life for Coach fw18 campaign
Coach unveils his Fall 2017 global advertising campaign for the new Coach 1941 collection. Taken in Brooklyn on an authentic subway train with Manhattan views and personalized with Coach’s vintage ad campaign images, the campaign is a form in New York, A city that Coach has always called home and immortalizes the Coach gang in the latest man and woman collection.
Photographed by Steven Meisel with Karl Templer’s styling and Baron & Baron’s artistic direction, the campaign portrays Imari Karanja, He Cong, Kiki Willems, Faretta, Hiandra Martinez and Oscar Kindelan as a company of friends traveling for the next adventure. The images embody a lightness of spirit and unlimited possibilities of the city – with a nostalgic nod in the ’70s. A mood light filters through the car window windows, reflecting the colors of Coach and the natural tones of the collection.
