Day 2: Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi

Follow the main trends of Georgian fashion outlined during the second day of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi.

Situationist FW 2017-18 collection was distinguished with its extraordinary style including long coats with big double reverse, over-sized jackets and trousers, various designs including green leather suits, beige neoprene and fur-woolen look in an intriguing burgundy shade, short sleeves and bomber hoods, shorts and long pants. To complete the total look put on the shoes: long boots with pants-effect and curly heels in suede and leather. The collection plays with colors: black, gray, blue with some concession to the green and the already mentioned burgundy.

Janashia in her collection emphasized the feminine freedom and beauty as the most important values. As a rule, Gvantsa Janashia puts the similar accents in her collections, however, it should be mentioned that in this particular collection, there was a very different spirit: soft, natural colors, shadows and tones, perfectly adorned the designer’s stylish, elegant, beautiful and distinctive silhouettes of 2017/2018.

Classic and sportive style mixes, fabrics embellished with laces, hand-made dresses and sweaters and the mix of sharp and warm pastel colors – designer Lako Bukia has expressed her personal emotions and attitudes in the current collection.
