Protagonist Caroline de Maigret behind “Who is Gabrielle”

Following the release on Monday April 17th of the black and white sequence-shot film directed by Olivier Assayas for the campaign around CHANEL’s GABRIELLE bag, its protagonist Caroline de Maigret reveals what happened behind the scenes.

“Today’s shoot was an incredible experience with very talented people, Olivier Assayas and his team. I go into a Parisian apartment and arrive at a photo shoot I had with Karl. It’s a nod from Olivier Assayas to Karl Lagerfeld. I take Chanel’s Gabrielle bag with me, which is like Gabrielle Chanel’s spirit accompanying me. She has always inspired me. I aspire to follow in her footsteps, to possess the unbridled freedom to do what you want when you want.”
