The colorful and eccentric circus of VIVETTA FW17 / 18
It is the cheerful atmosphere of the circus of the 40s that inspired the FW17 Vivetta collection.
The highly colored geometric print is the basis of the collection found on the coats, printed in all-over dresses and skirts or even revisited with fur pieces. This season also sounds the great return of the Art Deco and surrealist print, with embroideries and drawings representing the fantastic universe of the circus.
It is a real spectacle that offers clothes: velvet curtains dotted with Swarovski, jugglers, animals and harlequins “vivettiani”. Pierrot is also part of the game appearing on denim pants or inspiring the shape of a coat.
Nothing is left to chance … Handmade embroideries offer flowers of all sizes and colors bringing gaiety to the collection. The tulle dresses are decorated with tiny sculptures and others covered with a rain of Swarovski shine with a thousand lights such as princess dresses.
On the materials side, the inevitable popeline, cadi and tulle are the main actors in the collection, alongside newcomers such as velvet and vinyl.
This season, the palette widens with unusual and new colors such as purple, coral, cobalt blue, pop green, combined with soft roses and bottle green.
An entertaining collection, bringing joy and freshness to Milan Fashion Week.
