The return to the Renaissance of Altuzarra FW17 / 18

Inspired by portraits of the Northern European Renaissance, Joseph Altuzarra has created an interesting collection working on the real identity of things and people. This collection is conceived as a witness between the past and the present.

The burgundy velvet silhouettes seem straight out of a picture of this glorious artistic period. Renaissance patterns flourish on long, light dresses, all in rather dark shades only enhanced with touches of yellow and red bringing the touch of modernity necessary.

The creator has created a true balance, to bring back the past into the present without any false note.
