J BRAND X BELLA FREUD: capsule collection for the winter 2017

For the fall / winter 2017, the Californian brand J Brand announced its collaboration with the London designer Bella Freud for a capsule collection. This collaboration is part of the brand’s desire to support young talent and emerging creativity.

This 25-piece capsule collection will feature 10 looks featuring jeans dear to J Brand. For the creation, Bella was inspired by the 70s and the tomboy style that she had younger.

The collection combines the fantasy and aesthetics of Bella Freud with J Brand’s expertise, especially in denim.

According to Bella Freud “A girl wearing a pair of cool jeans is like Botticelli’s Venus. I am happy to work with J Brand, the denim king, to create a sexy and appealing look for fall / winter 2017.”
